With 34 years of experience, Alhaji Salami is an experienced finance expert. He was the Treasury Manager at the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), from where he retired from public service. While in NNPC, he also served as the Finance Manager of the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (WRPC/NNPC).
Alhaji Salami holds an HND, Accountancy from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, an MBA from the University of Ado Ekiti. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
Alhaji Salami has attended a number of courses in Nigeria and abroad.
